Mazda CX-5 Named To Car and Driver’s 10Best List Once Again
November 25 2020,
For the fourth year in a row, the Mazda CX-5 is part of Car and Driver’s famed 10Best list. The list recognizes the 10 best vehicles in the industry that surpass expectations on a variety of levels and stand out in their respective segments.
Powered by either a 2.5-litre four-cylinder that makes 187 horsepower or a turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque, the Mazda CX-5 also offers nearly 1,000 litres of total cargo space with all seats in place, which is quite impressive. The new Mazda CX-5 also shines when it comes to overall efficiency, offering one of the lowest fuel economy ratings in the segment.
“The Mazda CX-5 is the crossover we recommend to friends who are shopping for crossovers,” said Sharon Silke Carty, editor-in-chief of Car and Driver. “It is polished enough to compete with more upscale brands, and its effortless steering and controlled suspension make it fun to drive. It has the right combination of good looks, price and handling and has become a regular on our 10Best list.”
A total of 57 vehicles were evaluated for Car and Driver’s 10Best list. C&D editors judege vehicles based on value, ability to do what they are supposed to do, and how enjoyable they are to drive.
The 2021 Mazda CX-5 answers all of those criteria and has become a regular on the 10Best list. Check it out today at Guelph City Mazda!
