Here is the Mazda CX-9 for 2023
September 13 2022,
The Mazda CX-9 remains unchanged for 2023, which means that this large three-row SUV will continue to offer a good value proposition for families who need lots of space but also don’t want to give up on driving pleasure.
A good value
The 2023 Mazda CX-9 represents a good value proposition in its segment since its base price is among the lowest of its competitors and yet, it is equipped with many more standard features than most other 3-row SUVs. A strong point of the CX-9 is also its versatility, which allows each buyer to decide how their CX-9 will look and feel. This is possible due to a large number of trim levels offered, which go from the well-equipped GS all the way to the lavish Signature. Even towards the top of the lineup, the 2023 CX-9 remains more inexpensive than its competitors when compared in terms of features.
The most practical Mazda vehicle
The Mazda CX-9 is the physically largest vehicle in the Mazda lineup, which means that it is the Mazda model that can carry the most items as well as the most passengers. Buyers of some trim levels also get a choice between a standard bench seat in the middle row or two captain’s chairs. These chairs improve the comfort of the middle row passengers, but they remove one useable space, thus leaving the CX-9 able to carry six passengers. By folding the second and third row of seats flat down, the CX-9 can hold up to 2,016 litres of cargo.
The most fun-to-drive large SUV
Three-row SUVs are not usually thought of as exciting vehicles to drive due to their weight and their large size. Since the 2023 Mazda CX-9 is slightly smaller than its competitors, it is less hampered by its weight and dimensions and thus it is more fun to drive. Since no changes are made to the CX-9 for 2023, it remains powered by only one choice of powertrain: the turbocharged 2.5L unit. This engine can deliver up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when using 93-octane fuel, but it can also be run on 87-octane fuel in order to save money at the pump.
